North West Blood Bikes

We are delighted to announce that 2 push biking colleagues are participating in a challenging fundraising event to raise money for our Blood Bike charity. Martin and Colette Whelan are taking part in the Deloitte Ride Across Britain (RAB) on the 8-16th September 2018. This is a 980 mile cycle from Lands End to John O’Groats - on pedal bike power, not petrol - what a challenge! Collette and Martin both work in the operating theatres at Royal Lancaster Infirmary and want to support our charity on this event because they see first hand what a massive difference our riders make to the lives of their patients in theatre. We wish them the very best of luck, good weather, and hope there are plenty of down hill sections!
