NWBB Fleet and HQ manager Paul Pain and charity founder Paul Brooks were recently awarded the queen’s Platinum Jubilee Medal for their “front line” service to the charity and the NHS Trusts of Lancashire and South Lakes over the past ten years. Congratulations to both.

Memembers from North West Blood Bikes - North Area gathered to remember rider Russel Curwen who lost his life whilst riding on a delivery for the NHS in May 2018. Blackpool Tower was lit green as part of a memorial tribute.

North West Blood bikes Lancs and Lakes - registered charity 1147282 - have been providing volunteer motorcyle transport support to the NHS across Lancashire and South Lakes for ten years. The Charity was officially registered on 12th May 2012. So on Thursday evening 12th May 2022 Blackpool Tower will be lit red as many of the NWBB volunteers, supporters and stakeholders gather to celebrate the occasion.
