140,000 runs achieved for the NHS

During the evening of 15th March, Fylde Area rider Gary Johnston, directed by controller Kath Trimmingham, was the bearer of delivery number 140,000 since North West Blood Bikes Lancs & Lakes started its volunteer service in 2012! We never know the detail, but each of those runs has been part of caring for a patient and all achieved at no cost to the NHS. It is another milestone=moment for which all the nearly 1000 past or present, rider driver, controller and fundraiser volunteers can be quietly proud. As always we could not achieve this without them, their family support and the engagement of all of our donors who support us with the finance to enable all of this to happen safely and effectively. And tonight…. the mission continues.
