North West Blood Bikes

As well as transporting urgent and emergency items between hospitals, our volunteers also visit local groups and societies to spread the word about the vital service that we offer.

On Monday 2nd October Tony and Amanda attended Bilsborrow Village Hall and met with the Young Farmers of Bilsborrow at their Monthly Meeting to talk about Blood Bikes and received a very warm welcome.

Talks coordinator Brenda said “We go and do talks and group visits to a variety of groups. We already have over 50 talks booked for 2018.” she continued “It’s great to see the pictures from the talks. People seem to enjoy the bikes going but unfortunately we can’t always guarantee a liveried bike will be there due to them being required for duties. We do try our best though”
