Relay Run

Today, Saturday 15th June 2013, saw our first relay run. Matt Wilson, our Secretary was being run off his feet (or should I say treads) with back to back runs between Westmoreland General and Lancaster Royal Infirmary, when a call came in to take urgent notes to the Neonatal Unit at Furness General.
Denise, duty controller, rang around and found Mike Cairns, who lives in Barrow willing to meet Matt part way and they met at Meathop Fell, part way between Kendal and Ulveston. The best bit is it went without a hitch. Well done guys.
