Snow doesn't stop us

Friday 25th January 2013, it snowed, but not just a bit a lot and was mixed up by strong southerly winds. All of our 4×4 guys were put on standby. 22:00 hrs a run from Ormskirk to Southport was requested and Colin Lawrenson rose to the challenge in his 4×4. On his way through Ormskirk he went to the aid of a Taxi driver who couldn’t get his car moving and whilst doing so was pelted with snowballs, but all in good fun.
Ormskirk was pretty bad, but all the roads in Lancashire were hit, not least the M6 & M61, but Hey! nothing so far has stopped us, let’s hope it keeps that way.
