Complaints Procedure.

NWBB-L&L PROCEDURE FOR COMPLAINTS HANDLING

Introduction

NWBB L&L are a small charity staffed entirely by volunteers who provide a free service to assist the NHS with the transport of samples and medical supplies, primarily using motorcycles. The management and administration of the Charity is done by a small group of volunteers appointed by the members and committee under the guidance of trustees. NWBB L&L do not have a staffed office facility to contact but have an appointed group within these volunteers to deal with complaints.

Complaint receipt

If North West Blood Bikes Lancashire and Lakes (NWBB L&L) receive a complaint, this procedure sets out the general process to be followed:

  1. Once we have received your written complaint, we will contact you in writing within ten working days. At this stage we will give you our understanding of your case. We will also invite you to make any further comments that you may have in relation to this.
  2. Within twenty-eight days of receipt of your further written summary, we will write to you, to inform you of the outcome of this internal investigation into your complaint and to let you know what actions we have taken or will take.
