    The Hertel team based at Sellafield, with support from lot delivery partners IDS (Hertel, Atkins, North West Projects & West Lakes Engineering) & i3 Decommissioning Partners (Hertel, Wood & Shepley Engineers) together supported the Hertel Sellafield chosen annual charity NW Blood Bikes, raising a grand total of £5068.

    Becky Newton, organiser of the Vintage Tea Party writes: As you know I had a dream of bringing people together to enjoy tea and cake and we certainly did that. The community centre was dressed up in bunting, balloons, jam jars filled with flowers and delicate China crockery galore. It really did look pretty and within 20 mins of the event starting we had a person in every seat and the place was buzzing.

  • The Long Way Down

    On Sunday 7th May 2017 two friends, Ian Woodburn and Calum Wilcock, are riding non-stop (apart for essential comfort breaks) from John O’ Groats to Lands Ends to raise funds for North West Blood Bikes Lancs and Lakes. As both riders work for the NHS at The Royal Lancaster Infirmary they decided this would be a great charity to sponsor.

    ‘Crafty Ladies’ help keep the wheels turning

    A group from Penwortham have been raising money for local charity North West Blood Bikes – Lancs & Lakes.

    The 13 members of Crafty Ladies from Tuson House who meet weekly, nominated the charity as their charity of choice for 2016. Money was raised by holding a cabaret night, Christmas raffle and a table top sale. The ladies also sold items that they had knitted and crocheted like Easter bunnies, Halloween spiders and Christmas reindeers along with other items throughout the year.
