Bill one of our riders and secretary to the north west blood bikes recently had the privilege of attending the West Lancs and Merseyside Myeloma Support group where we had the chance to get to know more about the charity and tell them a bit more about us and what we do we where also handed a donation of £500 which will go some way to supporting our smooth running
Bill had a chance meeting with the Myeloma support group some years ago when they met in Southport. They were such a lovely positive crowd So when the request for a speaker last month Bill was the perfect fit to do this talk.
now the group meet around 1/2 a mile from Bill thinking he was going round for tea, a bit of a chat and to show them a bike. I hoped to see familiar faces and was indeed delighted to reacquaint myself with a number of survivors.
