    Christmas Tree Collections

Booking of collections is now closed

For the past 12 years St John’s Hospice have collected Christmas trees in the local areas in return for a donation.

“The whole event is quite good fun as we have many volunteers who go out in all weathers across our areas (From Garstang to Grasmere, Milnthorpe to Settle) they love the great Christmas Tree hunt.”

Every year they give some of the proceeds to other charities. This year they have chosen 5 local charities to also benefit from this and once again North West Blood Bikes is one of them. The charity has been able to meet the request of the NHS to continue providing the level of safe, free, professional volunteer transport our healthcare customers have come to expect and rely upon outside normal work hours.

  • Sainsbury's Bamber Bridge & Morecambe

Both the stores of Sainsbury’s at Bamber Bridge and Morecambe have been collecting for us over the past 12 months and it is coming to a close. The staff at both stores have been great, but we mustn’t forget the customers who have helped us by donating. All the money collected helps us keep our fleet of emergency bikes on the road and our volunteers in fuel.
